Sole Investors

Some clients want to run a successful company in the UAE, due to its zero tax policy, great ease of doing business, business incentives, and robust social infrasturcture. Through many exhibitions, and conferences in all sectors of the economy, that hold all year round, the UAE brings businesses, investors, distributors, buyers, and all stakeholders together, helping businesses to thrive. 

Group Investors

Relok has a package for clients who have part, but not all of the funds required to purchase a property. We put these valued clients into a small investment group, and pool their funds together, to purchase a property. Each group member owns a share of the property, and receives a share of the rent, equal to his shareholding in the property. Just like owning shares in a company, each investor does not need to know the other investors. Each investor can only trade his own shares in the property. He cannot engage in any activity that will encroach on the shareholding of other investors. Relok manages the entire property and all associated transactions on behalf of each investor in the group.

Asset Acquisition & Wealth Storage

Some of our clients purchase UAE properties not to earn a rent, but to store their wealth in a reliable asset. Other clients have an interest in acquiring landmark properties in startegic locations.

Long Term Visa & Citizenship Strategy

Some clients acquire UAE property in order to meet the investment threshold required for the UAE to grant them long term residence visas, or citizenship, under the new visa and citizenship laws that were announced in January 2021.

Why UAE Properties?

Zero Property Tax

There is no property tax in the UAE.
The only property fees payable are:

  • Property maintenance fees, payable to the company that maintains the property.

  • Property Transfer fees when a property is sold, and transered to a new owner. This is paid to the Lands Department.

High Expat & Tourist Population

89% (8.84 million) of the UAE's population is made up of foreigners who have come to work in the UAE. Over 21.5 million tourist visited the UAE, pre-Covid, in 2019.

This large and increasing population requires both long-term and short-term residential accomodation, as well as commercial units to satisfy its accomodation needs.

Meeting the current and future accomodation needs of UAE residents and tourists, is a major reason to invest in the UAE's real estate sector. Investors know that their properties will be rented or bought in a short time period, due to the prevailing demand.

The Currency is Pegged to the US Dollar

The UAE dirham (AED) has been pegged to the United States dollar ($) since 1973. Since 1997, it has been set at a rate of 1 U.S dollar to 3.6725 AED, and does not fluctuate.

Therefore, for investors, storing wealth in AED, has the same value as storing it is $. This is a great incentive to store wealth in UAE properties.

Government Help

The government intervenes from time to time, to shoreup the property market and protect it from adverse economic forces. This is good for investors, who know that the UAE has their back.
